Please read our refund and return policy carefully to understand your rights and our responsibilities.


🦜 Live Animal Policy

Because we sell live animals, our policies are crafted with the safety, health, and humane treatment of parrots in mind. We do not accept returns of live birds once they’ve been delivered, except under specific, documented conditions as outlined below.


Refund Eligibility

Refunds may be issued under the following circumstances:

  • Health Guarantee: If your parrot is confirmed by a licensed avian veterinarian to have a life-threatening, congenital health issue within 72 hours of delivery, we offer either:

    • A full refund, or

    • A replacement bird of equal value (subject to availability)

  • DOA (Dead on Arrival): In the rare case that your bird arrives deceased due to shipping conditions, we require:

    • Immediate notification within 4 hours of delivery

    • Clear photos and video evidence

    • A statement from your veterinarian, if available


🚫 Non-Refundable Circumstances

Unfortunately, we cannot provide refunds or returns under the following conditions:

  • Change of mind after purchase

  • Allergic reactions to birds

  • Improper care or neglect resulting in health issues

  • Delayed notification beyond the 72-hour health window

  • Failure to follow care instructions provided at purchase


📦 Shipping Refunds

Shipping costs are non-refundable once the bird has been dispatched. In case of a return or replacement (as approved by ShopParrot.com), the buyer is responsible for safe return shipping under approved conditions.


💼 Cancellation Policy

  • You may cancel your order within 24 hours of purchase for a full refund.

  • After 24 hours, cancellations are subject to a 20% restocking fee, as your parrot is reserved and care begins immediately.


🧾 Return Process (If Applicable)

If a return is approved due to an agreed-upon issue:

  1. Contact support@shopparrot.com with your order number and explanation.

  2. Submit any required veterinary documentation or evidence.

  3. Follow safe and humane shipping instructions provided by our support team.

We take bird welfare seriously, and all returns must meet ethical transport conditions.
